Comfortable Anesthesia and Relaxation Options
When you’re at Melissa Family Dental & Orthodontics, there’s no need to worry or feel afraid about your dental treatment. We have comfortable anesthesia and relaxation techniques to ensure that you’re not in any discomfort during your dentist visit.
- Prescription-Strength Topical Anesthesia — If your procedure requires an injection, we have topical anesthesia (or “numbing gel”) that we can apply to the gums to eliminate pain.
- Nitrous Oxide — A mixture of gas and oxygen, nitrous oxide (or “laughing gas”) is dispersed through a soft mask. When inhaled, patients feel both at ease and a sense of giddiness that takes away any anxiety about their dental procedure.
